We watched governance fail the same way in dozens of organisations: defined in documents but never enforced in systems. Compass is our answer, and everything we do follows from it.
From consulting to product.
Zalo Solutions started as consulting: intranets, custom Microsoft 365 development, and integrations for Swedish public-sector and regulated organisations, places where governance isn't optional and solutions have to hold up for years.
Project after project, the same pattern appeared. SharePoint structures that slowly broke down. Ownership nobody enforced. Heavy manual work just to keep documents, permissions, and people aligned.
Compass is that experience, productised. It was built from real projects, real failures, and real audits, so each new customer doesn't start from a blank site.
